Program’s Purpose
The Acequia Cost Share Program offers financial, and minor technical assistance to individual landowners and acequia association’s for small scale, acequia based, conservation projects. The ACSP is the highest funded ERASWCD program, and also the most popular.
This is a reimbursement program for the cost of Materials Only. Labor and engineering if needed, shall be provided by the applicant. Current property tax receipts are required and must accompany the application for proof of acreage, district inclusion, and will be used to confirm property ownership.
For your project to be considered for funding you need to provide the following: 1. Complete Application Packet (All forms can be found in the links provided below) 2. Rio Arriba County Property Tax-Bill 3. A site visit, which can be scheduled with an East Rio Arriba SWCD Staff Member
